RoverLink
Mobile Communication Needs
Roverlink addresses two major needs often associated with mobile access to business data:
- How to link mobile apps to business data sources with minimum effort yet maximum security, whether they are behind firewalls, through existing channels or even in the cloud.
- How to keep personal devices off the company network, yet provide secure access to business information.
Mobile Communication Solutions
With RoverLink, you can quickly deploy mobile access to behind-firewall resources thanks to our cloud-based intermediation services that enable a Rover Gateway deployed behind the firewall to use outbound-only connections to reach the RoverLink Relay services. Mobiles can then exchange information with companion gateways through these relay services.
Safe Mobile Communication
By keeping devices off the network, you have less need for device management and can deploy on third-party managed devices, such as partners, customers or others you might need to provision, where you might not want or be able to enforce device-level controls. RoverLink also supports direct-access for situations where the device is already connected to the network via an existing VPN setup. This addresses common corporate scenarios for company owned and/or managed devices. If the direct path is blocked due to VPN being off, the mobile can then use relay to access the gateway.
Simplicity
For organization deploying to broad users bases, or who already have significant assets in a DMZ or cloud, RoverLink direct can be used exclusively in those scenarios. Benefiting from the direct access, yet still providing all the device access control and encryption RoverLink enables.
RoverLink provides an application-level private network that keeps devices off your networks, makes mobile deployment simple and secure, making it ideal for today’s Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) environments.
